Resize Desktop Icons in Windows Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, Vista, and Windows 7

In Win XP you could use large or small icons for your desktop items.  And this was changed under the desktop's Properties settings with a simple checkbox.  But where the hell is the same thing in the latest MS OS offerings?  As seems to be the case (especially with Server 2008), I grumble much about MS removing/changing/hiding stuff and then end up finding out they have actually improved or better exposed the setting I'm looking for.

So how do you do it in Win 7 and the Server 2008 flavors?

left click on the desktop, then while holding down the CTRL key, roll you mouse wheel to increase or decrease the desktop icons to the size of your liking. Way cool!

I'd have never figured this one out on my own.  MUCHO gracias to http://blog.craigbailey.net/2008/02/tip-changing-vista-desktop-icon-sizes.html
